Sweating Locations

Sweating is one of several activities that can be done for free in Entropia Universe.  It is a primary activity for new players and non-depositors.  Every new player is given a VSE for gathering Vibrant Sweat from a mob and the VSE will not decay with use.

You can gather up to 4 bottles of sweat per attempt.  The amount of sweat you can gather from a mob is generally related to the amount of health that a mob has.  So L1 mobs generally have around 10 health, and run dry of sweat after 10 bottles are gathered.

Camp Icarus

Revive, Storage, Trade, Repair, Construction, Society, Auctioneer and Teleporter

NPCs:

There are several Mission NPCs.  They offer up about three missions each for new players.

Pros:  

This is where new players on Calypso start after the tutorial, so plenty of people around.
Plenty of mobs close to the camp's gun turrets.
Major hub for players Selling and Buying without use of the auction.
Large number of  older, experienced players, to offer advice for new players.
This is good for anyone seeking a mentor or wanting to find new disciples.
The teleporter makes it easy to travel to new locations.

Cons:

Larger number of players.
Can be hard to log in.
You have lots of mob stealing going on.
Only two types of mobs to sweat or hunt, both L1.  This can make it hard to diversify loot and get other items.

South Swamp Camp

Revive, Storage, Trade, Repair, Construction, Society

NPCs:

There is a single NPC.  He offers up a handful of missions, but only two at a time, so you will need to go back.  Final Mission will get you the Colony Ball Cap.

Pros:

Lots of mobs ranging between L1 and L5.  At South Swamp Camp they are mostly L1s, but occasionally something bigger will spawn or wonder in from the North.
Fewer players, so less mob stealing, less fighting over same mobs.
Generally a more relaxed atmosphere, very quiet and laid back.

Cons:

No Teleporter or auction.  This means you have to drive in or out to get there and/or to sell off loots.
Only two turrets and only a few mobs placed nearby.  This camp is definitely more for the sweater/hunter.  So get a pocket full of ammo before going out to sweat.
Fewer players so harder to get questions answered. Not likely to form up a team to go sweat.

North Swamp Camp

NPC's:

None

Pros:

Lots of mobs between L1 - L5.  Most mobs are between L1 - L3 but L4 and L5 mobs do spawn and break up the herds.
Fewer players, so more to sweat and hunt.

Cons:

No Auction or Teleporter.
Few turrets and no mobs within easy sweating, bring a pocket full of ammo it is a sweat then hunt location.
Fewer players so not a lot of helpful advice to be found if you get stuck.
No mission NPCs, so nothing to do but sweat and hunt.
